PURPOSE: A camera module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to control a distance between an image sensor and a lens by including a height control member. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor(220) is mounted on a printed circuit board(210). A holder(240) is arranged around the upper side of the printed circuit board. A height control member(250) is arranged on the upper side of the holder. A lens unit(230) is arranged on the upper side of the height control member. A protection protrusion(231) protects a WLO(Wafer Level Optics) type lens(235). A support unit(233) supports the WLO type lens.
