<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet which fixes at high speed on any kind of commercially used printing paper without a heat source and can form an image of high image quality and high fastness. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for inkjet recording includes as essential components (1) a silica sol and/or an alumina sol, (2) a water- or alcohol-soluble colorant, and (3) a water- or alcohol-miscible organic solvent having a boiling point of ≥180°C (760 mmHg), wherein the sum total of the components (1), (2) and (3) occupies 40-80% of the total weight of the composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
