<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber treatment agent that is not sticky, can impart slipperiness and a feeling having elasticity, while maintaining an excellent effect for imparting flexibility. <P>SOLUTION: The fiber treatment agent contains an organopolysiloxane obtained by binding an organic group represented by the general formula (1) to a silicon atom of an organopolysiloxane constituting a main chain.
