<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor type shut-off valve capable of opening and closing a valve by a low electric power. <P>SOLUTION: The shut-off valve includes: an auxiliary valve seat 50a; a main valve 53 with a sub-passage 43; an auxiliary valve 44, which is in pressure contact with the auxiliary valve seat 50a or separated therefrom, for circulating or shutting off a fluid at the sub-passage 43; a stepping motor 58 arraged at an upstream side of a main passage 41; a feed screw 48; a moving body 49 for pressing and moving the main valve 53 and the auxiliary valve 44; and a claw 64 for restricting rotation of the moving body 49.
