<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably stack a bundle of book-binding sheets on a tray, and also, enhance bookbinding quality. <P>SOLUTION: The book-binding sheet stacking device includes: the tray 60 on which the book-binding sheet bundle is stacked; ejectors 25 and 26 configured to support the book-bound sheet bundle obtained by bookbinding the set number of sheets loaded on a base plate by means of extension guides 31 and 32, and eject the sheet bundle onto the tray; a sheet detection sensor SW1 configured to detect the sheets transferred from an image forming apparatus; and a book-binding sheets ejection detection sensor SW2 configured to detect the book-binding sheet bundle ejected from the base plate onto the tray; wherein, based on the detection information obtained by the sheet detection sensor, the set number of sheets loaded on the base plate is calculated, bookbinding is performed when the set number of sheets are loaded, and the book-bound sheet bundle is ejected on the tray by moving the ejectors forward, and then, the ejectors are returned from the forward movement position to the original standby position, and also, after the lapse of predetermined time, the tray is moved down to a position where the trailing end of the book-bound sheet bundle slides into the wall surface recess of the wall body that supports the tray so as to be elevated and lowered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
