<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel support apparatus that improves fuel consumption while taking account of a tire temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The travel support apparatus 1 includes: a vehicle speed detector for detecting a vehicle speed of a vehicle 2; a tire temperature detector for detecting a temperature of a tire 4 of the vehicle 2; a rolling resistance calculator for calculating a rolling resistance of the tire 4 on the basis of the vehicle speed and the tire temperature; a route search device for searching a route from a departure place to a destination; a travel distance calculator for calculating a travel distance of the route; and a consumption energy calculator for calculating consumption energy which is consumed by the travel on the route on the basis of the rolling resistance and the travel distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
