A hydraulic cylinder system (1) comprises: cylinders (3a, 3b); valves (4a, 4b) respectively provided to the cylinders (3a, 3b) and adjusting the amount of operating liquid supplied into and discharged from the cylinders (3a, 3b); drive systems (5a, 5b) respectively provided to the valves (4a, 4b) and having motors (6a, 6b) for driving the valves (4a, 4b); and a connection member (8) for connecting the motors (6a, 6b) of the drive systems (5a, 5b) to each other so that the motors (6a, 6b) are operatively associated with each other.
