According to the present invention, the invention provides an automatic vertical traffic lane control post for displaying a centerline of a reversible traffic lane, wherein the automatic vertical traffic lane control post comprises: a body; a bracket which is installed on the lower part of said body, and vertically moves along with said body; a moving member which is coupled with one side of said bracket, and allows said bracket and said body to be moved vertically; and a cylinder which is coupled with the other side of said moving member having the one side that is coupled with said bracket, and vertically moves said moving member, wherein said body, said bracket, said moving member and said cylinder are laid underneath a centerline of a reversible traffic lane, said moving member that is coupled with said cylinder raises said body which is connected with said bracket if a signal light of the reversible traffic lane is operated on, and said moving member drops said body if said signal light of the reversible traffic lane is operated off. The invention vertically moves the body of the traffic lane control post by using the cylinder, the moving member, and the bracket, thereby reducing accidents by safely guiding vehicles, and at the same time, the invention allows the body of the traffic lane control post to be easily replaced when the body is damaged. Further, the invention enables a light source and a reflecting plate to be installed inside the body of the traffic lane control post so that light is softly emitted at nighttime, thereby the centerline can be clearly identified with the naked eye.
