PURPOSE: A method for scrolling a touch screen in a touch screen terminal and a device thereof are provided to determine the direction of scrolling a screen and scroll the screen in the determined direction if a corresponding signal is generated. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(24) enters a screen scroll mode. The control unit determines a direction of scrolling a screen. The control unit prepares to scroll the screen in the determined direction. The control unit receives a screen scroll signal. The control unit scrolls the screen in the determined direction.
