<p>The objective of the present invention is to emit sound according to the states of a plurality of audio devices in an audio system. A portable audio apparatus emits sound on the basis of first audio data (SA1), and determines whether or not an earphone is connected to the apparatus (SA2). If an earphone is connected, the portable audio apparatus continues to emit sound unless there is a change to second audio data (SA4 to SA8). If an earphone is not connected (SA2; NO), the portable audio apparatus transmits connection information indicating same to an audio player (SA8), and generates and transmits sound-emission data so as to cause the audio player to emit sound on the basis of the first audio data (SA9 to SA12). When the audio player receives the connection information indicating that the earphone is not connected, sound is emitted therefrom according to sound emission data received afterward.</p> |
