PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing carbon fibers is provided to heat a precursor fiber and to enable thermal treatment of precursor fibers under a stable condition. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for processing carbon fibers comprises: first and second rollers(150a,150b); first and second electrodes(120,140); a gas supply unit(130) for supplying discharged gas; and a wireless radio frequency source. The first and second roller winds the carbon fibers(152). The first and second rollers are placed in a predetermined interval and process the carbon fibers between the first and second rollers. The gas supply unit is placed on the first and second electrodes facing each other.
