<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a shell (10) for a hermetically-sealed cooling compressor that presents a constructive arrangement capable, by way of a novel geometry in which the height of the lid (1) is greater than the height of the body (2), to achieve a structurally more rigid shell (10). This novel geometric arrangement of the shell (10) is capable of providing much higher resonance frequencies than the state of the art whereby enabling a reduction in the noise emitted by the compressor, as well as a reduction in the production cost.</p> |
