<p>The present invention provides a method for analyzing and predicting the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma by checking the difference in mutation of candidate markers for hepatocellular carcinoma prediction on the X gene and precore/core gene of hepatitis B virus (HBV) between a patient group with chronic hepatitis B and a patient group with hepatocellular carcinoma developed from chronic hepatitis B, selecting a combination of the makers for hepatocellular carcinoma prediction in which mutation with statistically significant difference appears, providing weights with respect to the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma to the selected markers for hepatocellular carcinoma prediction through mathematical processing, and analyzing and predicting the risk of hepatocellular carcinoma using the result value calculated according to whether mutants of the markers with the provided weight for hepatocellular carcinoma prediction exist or not. According to the present invention, individual risk of developing hepatocellular carcinoma can be predicted in advance with respect to chronic HBV carriers or patients with liver diseases depending on the characteristics of the carriers or the patients, and thus it is possible to provide the information necessary for the optimum treatment of each patient and to more effectively determine clinical guidelines and a treatment direction of each patient.</p> |
