<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission circuit, a skew correction method, and an image reader, capable of adjusting a balance between the advancement and delay of skew that occurs in the data signal in various bit patterns. <P>SOLUTION: A signal transmission circuit 100 includes a transmission part 110 and a reception part 120 which individually transmit/receive clock signal CLK and data signal DATA through a parallel signal line. The signal line through which the data signal DATA is transmitted is provided with a delay part 125 which is an extension of the signal line. The amount of delay of the delay part 125 is determined based on the average time difference between H/L toggle signal (the signal in which H and L are alternately repeated) HLT, having been received, and the clock signal CLK. By adjusting the delay amount of the delay part 125 in this manner, the balance between advancement and delay of skew that occurs in the data signal DATA of various bit patterns is adjusted, for suppressing skew correction amount as a whole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
