<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device including a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises a first substrate 110, a second substrate 120, a reflection plate 112, and a transparent electrode 122. The first substrate 110 and the second substrate 120 face each other. The reflection plate 112 is disposed on a surface of the first substrate 110 that faces the second substrate 120. The transparent electrode 122 is disposed on a surface of the second substrate 120 that faces the first substrate 110. The display device further includes color filters 131R, 131G, and 131B, and a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer 150. The color filters 131R, 131G, and 131B are disposed on the reflection plate 112.
