<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting chip that is inhibited in variation of potential for lighting, which is applied to a light emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting chip Cal (C) includes light emitting thyristors L1, L2, L3, etc., transfer thyristors T1, T2, T3, etc., write-in thyristors M1, M2, M3, etc., arranged in seriate on a substrate 80. Respective two of the transfer thyristors T1, T2, T3, etc., in numerical order are made into pairs, and joint diode Dx1, Dx2, Dx3, etc., are provided at a gap between pairs. Further, there is provided a pseudo-current part 104 in which a current equivalent to the current flowing throuth the lighting thyristor L flows when the thyristor L is non-lighting.
