<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system enabling a user to receive a service provided by a service server in a printer at a visiting site, that is the same service received in a printer normally used by a user. <P>SOLUTION: In a printing system, a first printer comprises: connection authentication information storage means storing connection authentication information for connecting to a relay server; user authentication means for identifying a user who is authorized to use the connection authentication information; connection authentication information transmission means for transmitting the connection authentication information to a second printer when the user authentication means identifies the user as an authorized user to use the connection authentication information. Then, the second printer comprises: authentication information input means for inputting user authentication information; authentication information transmission means for transmitting the user authentication information to the first printer; and service providing means for performing communication to receive an electronic file storage service from a service server via an Internet line based on the connection authentication information received from the first printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
