MOBILE COMMUNICATION METHOD AND RADIO BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an "eICIC" (Enhanced Inter Cell Interference Coordination) at a suitable timing.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication method includes: a step A where a mobile station UE transmits a "Measurement Report" containing a measurement result of radio quality in downlinks in peripheral cells #2 to #4 to a radio base station eNB#1 which manages a cell #1 under communication; a step B where the radio base station eNB#1 selects the cell #2 from the peripheral cells #2 to #4, based on the "Measurement Report"; and a step C where the radio base station eNB#1 transmits a "DL HI Indication" indicating an influence of the interference in a downward direction to the mobile station UE is strong to a radio base station eNB#2 which manages the cell #2.
