<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of sufficiently cooling a capacitor and a power module, and an electrically driven vehicle using it. <P>SOLUTION: A power converter 6 includes: a power module 21 which has a switching element and converts DC power to multi-phase AC power; and a plurality of capacitors 22 which smooth the DC power. The power converter 6 is provided with: a heat sink 23 for the power module on which the power module 21 is mounted; and a cooling part 30 for the capacitor fixed to the heat sink 23 for the power module, for mounting the capacitors 22 and cooling them with cold air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
