<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in RFID systems for use in logistics and marketing distribution that errors or omissions may occur in RFID reading and that the ID to be duly read may then fail to be read, leaving such reading errors or omissions unnoticed. <P>SOLUTION: An RFID system using an active tag to control reading of passive tags required to be read records information regarding the passive tags to be read (e.g. the number of the passive tags) into the active tag in advance and uses this information in controlling the reading of the passive tags (e.g. determines the completion of passive tag reading, performs the reading until a required number or, if the number of read tags is insufficient, issues an alarm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
