<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge type anchor clamp for easy installation work of an electric wire which pulls an overhead transmission line to a steel tower. <P>SOLUTION: The wedge type anchor clamp pulls an overhead transmission line to a steel tower. It includes a clamp body 10 which holds an electric wire at cable-tensioning work of it, a pair of wedges 60 which are press-fitted into a vertical gap between the clamp body 10 and the electric wire held by it, for securing the electric wire, a pair of connection plates 20 whose one end is rotatably supported by both sides of the clamp body 10, a clevis link 30 connected to the other end of the pair of connection plates 20, and a cable-tensioning link 70 fitted to one side of both sides of the clamp body 10.
