<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressuring mechanism, a lubricant supply device, a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus that constantly supply lubricant on an image carrier in a stable and uniform manner without experiencing shortage of lubricant to be supplied on an image carrier over periods of time. <P>SOLUTION: A lubricant supply device includes a pair of rotation members 16g that is rotated in a predetermined direction by energizing force of an energizing member 16h, presses solid lubricant 16b via a holding member 16c, and causes the solid lubricant 16b to come into pressure contact with a lubricant supply roller. The lubricant supply device further includes a one-way clutch 16j (regulation means) that regulates a direction of rotation of the pair of rotation members 16g so that the respective rotation members 16g rotates only in the predetermined direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
