<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wall 1 and a ceiling 18 under eaves from being contaminated by the air exhausted from a vent cap, in case where the vent cap for ventilation is installed on the wall 1 near the under side of the ceiling 18 under eaves. <P>SOLUTION: In the vent cap for ventilation, a peripheral part 11a on a shield part 8 side of a cover part 10 is shorter than peripheral part 11b of a body pipe 5. With this configuration, the air exhausted from the body pipe 5 spreads radially along the shield part 8. It then flows along the cover part 10 from the outer periphery of the shield part 8, and is discharged mostly from an end part of the peripheral part 11a on the shield part 8 side of a ventilation passage 9, to be exhausted to the opposite side of an outside wall 1. Consequently, the outside wall 1 and the ceiling 18 under eaves are prevented from contaminated by the air that is exhausted from the vent cap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
