<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-on reset circuit that has a small area. <P>SOLUTION: The power-on reset circuit having a capacity and a current source disposed between a power terminal and a ground terminal, and an inverter having an input terminal connected to a connection point between the capacity and the current source includes a discharge circuit for discharging a capacity when a supply voltage rise is detected.
