<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold capable of obtaining a molded product having desired properties by reducing the deterioration of the molded product resulting from the positioning part of a tapered pin or the like in production of an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: When the first and second positioning parts 51 and 52 are separated from each other, vacuum break in both positioning parts 51 and 52 is avoided to reduce pullout resistance by supplying air between the positioning parts 51 and 52 through a ventilation part 54. Besides, when the positioning parts 51 and 52 are fitted to each other, a remaining gas can be made so as not to exist between both positioning parts 51 and 52 by discharging air between the positioning parts 51 and 52 through the ventilation part 54. Thereby, in production of the optical element using the metallic molds 41 and 42, the quality deterioration of the molded product caused by the positioning parts 51 and 52 can be reduced to obtain the product having desired properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
