he liquefied natural gas plant (LNGP) has a gas liquefaction plant (GLP) with a flash drum (FD) for decompression of gaseous natural gas (GNG) by a higher pressurization level to a liquefied natural gas (LNG) on a lower pressurization level. An expansion gas unit is designed in such a manner that a common collector is provided, to which evaporation gas (BOG) and extension gas (EFG) are supplied as collected gas (CG) in a collector (COL). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a liquefied natural gas plant.
