<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic teller machine capable of replacing a banknote with a missing part, with a normal banknote. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic teller machine includes: a customer operation display screen 16 that displays a transaction selection screen 41 and accepts a customer's selection of a replacement transaction for replacing a partially missing banknote P with a normal banknote; a deposit/withdrawal slot 11 into which the customer deposits or withdraws the partially missing banknote P deposited; a conveying part 30 for conveying the partially missing banknote P from the deposit/withdrawal slot 11; a residual ratio measuring section 37 for measuring a residual ratio of the partially missing banknote P deposited by the customer; and a control section 10 that displays, on the customer operation display screen 16, the replacement transaction process with the normal banknote according to the residual ratio, accepts a customer's confirmation of the replacement transaction process, and performing the replacement transaction process confirmed by the customer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
