<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core water-level control system for decreasing reactor power which suppresses the excessive power decline caused by failure of adjustment of the width of power decline when recovering a core water level by reducing a core flow rate forcibly and decreasing the reactor power. <P>SOLUTION: A nuclear reactor water-level control system includes: a feed-water pump for supplying cooling water to a reactor; a pressure control device for outputting a load requirement deviation signal based on a reactor pressure; a recirculation flow controller for adjusting a rotational frequency of a recirculation pump according to the load requirement deviation signal; and a subtractor for outputting a difference value between a flow rate of feed water supplied by the feed-water pump and a main steam flow rate. When the event which causes the decrease in the reactor feed-water flow rate occurs, the difference value between the feed-water flow rate and the main steam flow rate instead of the load requirement deviation signal is input to the recirculation flow controller so as to adjust a core flow rate according to the difference value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
