<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing the surface of a bamboo material, in which a radial burning pattern is simply and inexpensively created on the surface of a green bamboo material or a bamboo material as a construction material, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The method for processing the surface of a bamboo material is provided for creating a burning pattern on the surface skins 18, 18' of bamboo materials 10, 32. The method includes a burning step in which radial burning patterns 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 are created with the outer flame 14 of a flame 20 in such a manner that the flame 20 from the flame nozzle 12 is applied to the surface just for a short period of time while a cylindrical flame nozzle 12 of a burner is brought close to the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
