摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot having no damage in piping, etc. and requiring small installing space. <P>SOLUTION: The robot is provided with a swinging arm 4 which supports an activating shaft 5 in a movable manner in a shaft line direction. A hollow section through which a connecting member (piping, etc. 104) is passed is formed and the activating shaft 5 is supported by the arm 4 in a rotatable manner. Pillar members (pillars 62, 63) are installed on the arm 4 in a standing manner. A coil section 145 on the pillar members side of the connecting member is held by the pillar members and coil sections 113, 114 are formed between the other end of the activating shaft 5. Coil sections 113, 114, 145 have specific bending elasticity. Coil sections 113, 114 are positioned on the same shaft line with the activating shaft and one end thereof is rotatably supported by the activating shaft 5 in an integrated manner while the other end is supported by the arm 4 so as not to rotate integrally with the activating shaft 5.
