<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To coat a longer distance than a conventional one in the application of a liquid material using a coating needle. <P>SOLUTION: In a coating mechanism 25, a through hole 14 is formed in the bottom part 13 of a liquid container 11 housing the liquid material 10. A flat surface 3 is formed on the tip of the coating needle 1 and a tapered part 2 tapered toward the tip is formed on the tip part of the coating needle 1. One or a plurality of slit grooves 5 are formed so as to divide each of at least a part of the taper part 2 and the flat surface 3 toward the upper side from the tip. The coating needle 1 penetrates the through hole 14 of the liquid container 11 and is arranged to the liquid container 11 so that the upper ends of the plurality of the slit grooves 5 may be located upper side than the bottom part 13 of the liquid container 11 to introduce the liquid material 10 to the flat surface 3 when the liquid material 10 is applied on an object to be coated 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
