Disclosed is a flow control valve for a construction machine, wherein a flow rate supplied to a hydraulic actuator is uniformly controlled by a flow rate control spool in a spool. According to the present invention, a flow control valve for a construction machine includes a valve body having a supply path communicating with a pump path and an actuator port connected to an actuator, and a spool incorporated in a valve body, wherein the flow control valve comprises: a flow control spool switched in the spool so as to variably control the sectional area of a path that is connected to the actuator port at one side when a flow rate introduced into the supply path is higher than a set flow rate; a first path formed in the spool so as to communicate with the supply path; a second path formed in the spool so as to communicate with the actuator port at one side and having a sectional area of the path according to the switch of the flow control spool; a third path communicating with first and second flow control paths, which are formed in the flow control spool, so as to respectively communicate with the first and second paths; a first signal pressure path formed in the flow control spool so as to communicate the first flow control path with a pressure chamber; and a second signal pressure path formed in the flow control spool for communicating the third path with a back pressure chamber.
