PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an environment-friendly ceiling finishing material and an environment-friendly ceiling finishing material are provided to have excellent incombustibility and adiabatic efficiency, and to be lightweight and environment-friendly by forming precise pores. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an environment-friendly ceiling finishing material comprises the steps of: making autoclaved concrete into the size and the thickness of a ceiling finishing material; manufacturing liquid materials having the appointed viscosity like paste by manufacturing natural pulp, which is extracted from a paper mulberry, the material of Korean paper, into the state of powder and mixing with water; applying the liquid material having the appointed viscosity on one side or fix sides including the outward exposed side from the manufactured autoclave concrete, and then drying the liquid material; and drying the liquid material applied on the autoclaved concrete at room temperature or fixed temperature.
