PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high capacity secondary battery having excellent cycle charge/discharge characteristics.

SOLUTION: A high capacity secondary battery having excellent cycle charge/discharge characteristics is obtained by selecting a polyether copolymer, optical reaction initiator, and an electrolyte salt compound appropriately, covering the main surface of a negative electrode material or the main surfaces of negative electrode and positive electrode materials with a compound for polymer solid electrolyte consisting of a copolymer, an optical reaction initiator and an electrolyte salt compound but not containing a crosslinking assistant, and then employing a crosslinked polymer electrolyte obtained by crosslinking in the secondary battery.
