<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of suppressing toner consumption while preventing degradation of a printing result as possible, in a driver program. <P>SOLUTION: A driver program of this invention makes a computer execute: a reduction target specification step of specifying a reduction target to toner consumption when an image of a print object is printed at a printer 200; a print magnification determination step of determining print magnification of the image of the print object based on the specified reduction target; a reduced image generation step of reducing the image of the print object and generating a reduced image of the print magnification determined at the printing magnification determination step; an outline image generation step of generating an outline image of the image of the print object; a composite image generation step of combining the reduced image and the outline image to generate a composite image; and an output step of outputting print data based on the composite image to the printer 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
