<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage of a developer between the gap of an opening and closing member and a device to be mounted according to opening/closing of the opening and closing member. <P>SOLUTION: A storage container (TC) for a developer comprises an opening and closing member (51) supported by a storage part (31) capable of storing a developer inside in which an opening and closing member (51) is movably supported between an opening position for opening an opening (33a) of the storage part (31) and a closing position for closing the opening, and a part to be engaged (53) disposed on a lateral side of the opening and closing member (51) with respect to the direction in which the storage part (31) is mounted on a device (U1) to be detachably mounted in which, when the storage part (31) is mounted on the device to be mounted (U1), the movement of the opening and closing member (51) is controlled by engaging with an engagement part (17) disposed in the device to be mounted (U1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
