A gutter supported along the eaves of a roof with its base rear portion resting on a gutter support 8 has a front wall 2 which extends upwardly substantially beyond the top edge of the rear wall 4 to conceal the eaves edge of the roof and is provided with a part 5 adjacent the bottom of the front wall extending below the level of the rear portion of the base. The rear wall may be inclined as in Figs. 2 (not shown) and Fig. 1 or may be vertical, Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown). The gutter support 8, which may be the vertically adjustable support described in Specification 1,143,422, may be located by detent means 7 in a rearwardly facing channel 6 below the base, may be pivotally bolted to the gutter base, Fig. 2 (not shown) or may overlie and be clamped to the upper edge of the rear wall of the gutter as in Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown). The gutter may be made of a synthetic plastics such as polyvinyl chloride.</p> |
