The press (1) has a dryer system comprising a hot-air dryer (3), and a pipeline path provided downstream of the dryer system and consisting of fluid lines. Exhaust air of dryer exhaust air stream (15) is supplied to a recovery device (7) for separating a part of hydrocarbons contained in the dryer exhaust air stream, where the dryer exhaust air stream leaves the hot-air dryer. A thermally oxidative exhaust air cleaning stage (10) is arranged downstream of the recovery device for a part of the dryer exhaust air stream, which leaves the recovery device. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a printing press.
