The system has a radio frequency signal receiver (2) that wirelessly receives signals for position determination of animal. A wireless data transmission unit, a control unit (4) and a power supply unit are arranged on a circuit board (1). The radio frequency signal receiver provided with a radio frequency signal antenna (3), is mounted on the flexible ground plane of the circuit board. An attachment unit is provided for securely attaching the system main structure onto the animals. A power supply unit is equipped with a lithium polymer accumulator (9).
