PURPOSE: A powerless water treating and filtering apparatus is provided to improve the water treating function of the apparatus by completely eliminating impurities from feed water through two times filtering processes. CONSTITUTION: A powerless water treating and filtering apparatus includes a container(10), a partition(20), a filter(30), a first through plate(40), a second through plate(50), an upper cover(60), a lower cover(70), a plurality of supporting pillars(80), a conical strainer(90), a connecting conduit(110), and an opening and closing part(120). The upper side and the lower side of the container are opened. The partition separates the containing space(11) of the container into an upper space(11a) and a lower space(11b). A plurality of screw holes(21) is formed in the partition. The filter is composed of a first filtering member(31) and a second filtering member(32). The first filtering member is arranged at the upper space of the container and is composed of a plurality of partial members(31a). The second filtering member is arranged at the lower space of the container and is composed of a plurality of partial members(32a). The partial members of the first filtering member are larger than the partial members of the second filtering member. The through plates determine opening and closing of the upper side and the lower side of the container.
