PURPOSE: A bus lane violation monitoring apparatus and a method thereof are provided to easily detect a vehicle violating a bus lane by including an identifier receiver. CONSTITUTION: A license plate number DB(210) stores a license plate number corresponding to a vehicle identifier. An identifier receiver(220) receives the vehicle identifier received from a vehicle. A license plate number search part(230) searches the license plate number corresponding to the vehicle identifier from the license plate number DB. A license plate number transmission part(240) transmits the searched license plate number to a central management part(300).
