<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell power generation system which is capable of using a shift converter catalyst in a highly active state with low energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell power generation system S comprises: a fuel reforming device 10; a fuel cell device 20; and a control device 30 which controls the operation of each of the devices 10 and 20. The fuel reforming device 10 comprises: a reformer 3 which generates reformed gas; a converter 5 which has a shift converter catalyst 5a for converting carbon monoxide contained in the reformed gas into carbon dioxide; temperature detection means T which detects a temperature of the shift converter catalyst 5a; and heating means H which is capable of heating the shift converter catalyst 5a. If the shift converter catalyst 5a meets a degradation occurrence condition and a temperature detected by the temperature detection means T is lower than a reference temperature, the control device 30 changes the operation of the heating means H to thereby raise the temperature of the shift converter catalyst 5a when increasing a generation amount of the reformed gas in the reformer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
