<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing in which sintered particles contained in ceramic rolling body are minute and which controls segregation of the sintered particles and has excellent durability. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling body is produced through a mixing process of charging zirconia type beads of ϕ of ≤1 mm, a raw powder of optionally stabilized zirconia or zirconia particles of an average particle size of 1-0.5 μm and a raw powder of alumina of an average particle size of 1-0.5 μm into a bead mill mixer in such a ratio that the content of the raw powder of alumina is 5-50 mass% of the total amount of raw powders mixed, and grinding and mixing to obtain a mixed powder showing d90 of ≤0.30 μm, the largest-appearance-ratio particle size of ≤0.15 μm and a width of the particle size frequency distribution of ≤0.06 μm in the particle size cumulative distribution curve, a molding process of molding the mixed powder obtained in the mixing process into the shape of teh rolling body and a sintered process of sintering the molding obtained in the molding process to obtain rolling body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
