<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To periodically and surely refresh a running time for a sports competition without a break. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter device 2 may be arranged at the sports competition venue, whereas a receiver device 15 may be relatively far from the sports competition venue. Data signals S<SB POS="POST">T</SB>are first transmitted from the transmitter device as the sports competition is taking place. These data signals include data about the starting time of at least one competitor, one or several intermediate times and a final finish time. The receiver device 15 receives the data signals S<SB POS="POST">T</SB>in succession. The receiver device 15 thus refreshes the running time of the sports competition in progress after a predetermined temporal lag (Δt) in the receiver devices 5, 15 following the indication of a starting time in the received data signals S<SB POS="POST">T</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
