<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of sufficiently achieving both the rolling resistance and the wear resistance when being applied to a member for a tire such as a tread. <P>SOLUTION: In the rubber composition, a hydrous silicic acid is blended in which a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB)(m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g) and an ink bottle-like pore index (IB) satisfy expression (I): IB≤-0.36×CTAB+86.8 (I). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
