<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a patterned metal material, which is superior in productivity and industrial production suitability, and also can form patterned metal wiring on the surface of the patterned metal material, which are superior in insulation reliability between themselves and temporal stability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the patterned metal material provided with a patterned metal film on the surface comprises: a resin layer forming step of forming a resin layer 12a containing a copolymer that includes a unit having a predetermined functional group, on a substrate 10; a catalyst imparting step of imparting a plating catalyst or a precursor thereof to the resin layer 12a; a plating step of plating the plating catalyst or the precursor thereof; and a pattern forming step of forming the patterned metal film by using an etchant having a pH of 6.5 or less after the plating step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
