<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which thawing or the like of a cooled object such as food is performed by using ultrasonic waves, ultrasonic waves are uniformly propagated to the cooled object, and cost reduction and space-saving can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a storage chamber 6 where an object to be cooled is placed, a cooler 3 which cools the storage chamber 6, an ultrasonic wave generator which is provided in the storage chamber 6 and has an ultrasonic wave element 13 and a diaphragm 12, and a plate-like propagation section 15 which is installed in an upper portion of the diaphragm 12 and of which the upper surface has ruggedness. Ultrasonic waves generated by the ultrasonic wave generator are propagated through the propagation section 15 to the cooled object placed in an upper portion of the propagation section 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
