<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-based phosphorescent composite material which has phosphorescence, is inexpensive and lightweight, and has high mechanical strength at room temperature and at high temperature, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: An aluminum powder and phosphorescent powder are charged into a mixing device and are subjected to mechanical grinding. In this way, since mechanical energy is applied to the aluminum powder, strain is applied to the aluminum powder, the aluminum powder is subjected to working-hardening, and the mechanical strength and hardness are increased. With this process, since it is possible to obtain the powder mixture of the aluminum powder with increased mechanical strength and the hardness and the phosphorescent material powder, the powder mixture is filled into a mold and sintered by a spark plasma sintering method, and molded into a desired shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
