<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new crystal form of 2,3-dimethyl-8-(2,6-dimethylbenzylamino)-N-hydroxyethyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-6-carboxamide mesylate, excellent in chemical stability, stability in a solid state and shelf life. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the crystals or the like obtained by the following processes, for example: (a) dissolving or suspending in a suitable solvent, 2,3-dimethyl-8-(2,6-dimethylbenzylamino)-N-hydroxyethyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-6-carboxamide; (b) adding methanesulfonic acid to the resultant solution or suspension at high temperature; and (c) crystallizing the solution or suspension to isolate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
