The device (10) has a toe-in actuator (16) i.e. starter relay, and a starter motor (13) held at a drive end bearing-housing (19). The starter motor comprises a housing that is represented by a pole tube (28). An attachment module is arranged within a free-space (218) that is limited by a housing (156) of the actuator and the pole tube. The attachment module is designed as a limiting module such as starting current limiting module, and comprises a side-cut having minimum thickness corresponding to minimum distance in the free space and the starter motor.
